Creative problem solving using unrelated stimuli
Article Abstract:
Rich pictures, pictorial metaphors, collage and picture stimulation are methods that can be employed by groups to promote creative thinking among group members. Such methods, which involve a facilitator who forces team members to perceive their views from a different perspective, utilizes unrelated stimuli to address group problems. The facilitator promotes creative thinking by asking team members to alter their mind-sets and to formulate ideas through the use of unrelated stimuli such as collage and pictures. With regards to the creation of multiple perspectives, which can serve as rich sources of creative ideas, a group undergoes the same process of unrelated stimuli methods for several times using different unrelated stimuli.

The Disability Discrimination Act of 1995: credible legislation? The main implications for employers
Article Abstract:
Passage of the Disability Discrimination Act of 1995 created substantial changes in corporate America, as it altered the way employers treated individuals with physical and mental illnesses. The legislation prohibits companies from favoring employees according to their physical capacity and compels them to provide privileges and benefits to disabled workers. However, the failure of federal officials in implementing the law and identifying a defined scope of applications has undermined the legislation's potential in eradicating occupational discrimination.
