Cross-national diffusion research: what do we know and how certain are we?
Article Abstract:
Cross-national diffusion analysis plays an integral role in determining the success of newly-introduced products in the market. Evaluating cross-national factors does not only help firms determine market trends but also help them ascertain the period of time by which products get adopted in foreign countries. Variables, such as mobility, degree of cosmopolitanism and percentage of women in labor, were found to significantly affect diffusion patterns across countries.
