Differentiating Entrepreneurs from Small Business Owners: A Conceptualization
Article Abstract:
The differences between entrepreneurs and small business owners, both as people and in the kinds of businesses they operate, are explored. Facts and figures about small business in the United States are given. Literature on the entrepreneur is reviewed, with a table describing his characteristics. Guidelines for distinguishing between the two are set forth. It is suggested that some published studies are inaccurate. Extensive reading is necessary to form reliable conclusions.

Entrepreneurial action and the role of uncertainty in the theory of the entrepreneur
Article Abstract:
A new model that allows for assessment of entrepreneurial action at the individual level of analysis while remaining consistent with a rich legacy of a system level theories of entrepreneur is put forward by considering the role uncertainty plays in the economic theories of the entrepreneur. This model exposes the limitations of the existing theories and also contributes to a deeper understanding of important conceptual issues.

Corporate citizenship: Toward an extended theoretical conceptualization
Article Abstract:
A theoretically informed definition of corporate citizenship that is descriptively robust and conceptually distinct from existing concepts in the literature is given. The extended perspective exposes the element of 'citizenship' and conceptualizes corporate citizenship as the administration of a bundle of individual citizenship rights that are conventionally granted and protected by governments.
