Dole won the Ohio, Michigan, Illinois and Wisconsin primaries on Mar 19, 1996, bringing his total delegate count to 915, 81 short of winning the nomination. Patrick Buchanan finished a distant second, but vowed to continue his campaign. H Ross Perot is considering a third party run.
