Drugstore industry
Article Abstract:
The consolidation taking place in the drugstore industry during the late 1990's is not yet over, but mergers in the future will be smaller in scale and scope. A major key to success for the industry in the future will be with dealing with the aging population of the US, and electronic commerce and automation will have an effect on the industry, as well. These stocks are timely for the 2nd qtr of 1999 and are likely to outperform the market for the coming year and through the years 2002-2004.

Power industry
Article Abstract:
Nonregulated power industry stocks have declined in 2001, due to the California power situation and other factors. Action to increase power supplies are being taken by several states, and by the Federal government as well. These stocks are not timely in 2001, but several have potential through the next three to five years.

Pharmacy services industry
Article Abstract:
Stocks of some drugstore chains have sold off after achieving a recent high, but the industry remains timely. Demographic trends in the US also bode well for the industry over the next three to five years with an aging population. Several of these stocks are timely for 2001 and through 2004 to 2006.
