Entrepreneurial effectiveness and achievement in Arab culture: new evidence to rekindle interest in an old predictor

Article Abstract:

The relationship between need for achievement (n-Ach), entrepreneurial effectiveness and satisfaction among Jordanian entrepreneurs is analyzed. Results show that subjects with high n-Ach were highly satisfied and effective. The level of achievement was not a function of existing business conditions. Findings further indicate that achievement training and education are important factors in promoting entrepreneurship in Jordan.

These staff members work 12-15 hours per day because they enjoy their jobs and their rewards.
