Ethical conflicts at Enron: moral responsibility in corporate capitalism
Article Abstract:
The author, a former vice president at Enron who initially reported the company's accounting irregularities, relates her personal experiences regarding her discovery to practices of corporate watchdog groups and why these groups failed to identify the irregularities. She concludes that regulation of moral responsibility is required in the capitalist system; a question-and-answer segment follows.

An overview is presented on the origin, history, and development of the concept of corporate social responsibility, and uses as an example the ability of developing countries to obtain access to needed medicines.
