Stocks in the food processing industry are facing an uncertain future for the last six months of the year 2001. The need for greater market share has also led many companies in this industry to merge and consolidate since the beginning of the year 2000. These stocks are mid-range for timeliness in 2001, but a select few are expected to perform well.
