Globalisation's second wave
Article Abstract:
Many Australian companies burnt their hands the first time they tried to enter the global markets. This led to certain amount of caution on that front. However, recently Macquarie Bank and Tabcorp have succeeded in imprinting their presence in the global market. Other companies from different sectors like biotechnology and mining too are globalising their activities.

Good news just gets better
Article Abstract:
The increase of the combined revenue for the Australia's 1000 largest enterprises, despite the slowing of economy, rise of oil prices, climbing inflation, is discussed. The reasons for the increase are also mentioned in this context.
