The present positive mood in the stock markets is in stark contrast to the situation in 2003, when a gloomy sentiment resulted from fears of a recession in the United States and a drawn-out war with Iraq. The times when investors capital -- give up on there ever being another recovery gives the market an impetus as it happened in March 2003 which created value, and also franked dividends are profitable every year.
