As the retail sector shows boom in the Queensland state, the state government has released its draft regional plan. The focal point of the plan is to encourage more high-density living around established urban areas and outlaw development in the regionEs environmentally sensitive areas. Yet there are concerns from the property industry, environmental groups and community members on how the government will manage one million who will be migrating by 2026.

The latest trend in professional organizations such as banks, law firms and accountants, in choosing Queensland for expansion, is analyzed. It is observed that with leading performance of companies listed in Queensland, many financial and professional services of organizations are expanding in the state. Queensland is believed to be a logical place by which both economy and firm are turning super powerful.
