Holmes a Court's toughest sale; the John Holland construction and engineering business is still on the market, after six months
Article Abstract:
Janet Holmes a Court's attempted sale of John Holland Group Proprietary Ltd. has been difficult, given the potential costs resulting from the Group's disagreement with Toyo Engineering over a failed oil refinery contract. Damages could be as high as $50 million. Holmes would prefer to sell or find a joint-venture partner rather than maintain the business, which she claims needs new capital.
