Article Abstract:
Earnings for the hotel industry are expected to be steady and respectable for the year 2000 with strong pricing and earnings trends, along with operating efficiencies. The gaming cycle in Las Vegas, NV, may have peaked, with the growth of California's Indian casinos, but there are new gaming projects planned for Atlantic City, NJ. Most stocks in these industries are neutral for the year 2000, but several have potential for the next three to five years.
