How important are shared perceptions of procedural justice in cooperative alliances?
Article Abstract:
The importance of boundary spanners, shared perceptions of procedural justice in cross-cultural cooperative alliances is examined building on the 'loose coupling' logic. The results demonstrate that shared procedural justice becomes even more important in relation to profitability when cultural distance or structural uncertainty is at a high level.

The analysis of longitudinal data on 900 privately held firms confirm the differing influences of forms of slack on performance. A discussion of the implications of the findings for theories of resources and entrepreneurship is done.
