The weak US economy, especially after the terrorist attacks of Sep 11, 2001, and the subsequent hiring freezes have allowed the stocks of the human resources industry to fall. Financial improvement in the industry is not expected until the middle of the year 2002. Patient investors will find some opportunities here, however, for the next three to five years.
