Dynamics in consumer response to product unavailability: Do stock-out reactions signal response to permanent assortment reductions?
Article Abstract:
Consumer reactions to out-of-stocks (OOS), which are unexpected and temporary in nature as opposed to permanent assortment reductions, (PAR) are investigated. Similarities and differences between OOS and PAR reactions in addition to their underlying factors, and empirically test propositions in two product categories are discussed.

Article Abstract:
An overview of health program evaluation methods, and the rationale for the use of stated preference discrete choice modelling (SPDCM) techniques is provided. The use of SPDCM to deal with these issues is well accepted in marketing, transport, and environmental economics.
