The reasons that lie behind the inability of most of the Australia's new product developers to market their products despite help offered by institutions and organizations like Australian Institute of Commercialization, Triton Foundation, state government innovation center, CSIRO's Fast Track, AIC's TechFast and others have been described. The steps that need to be taken to market products successfully have been discussed.

New laws should be introduced to tackle the problem of business operators who allow their companies to trade while insolvent, then fail, leaving a string of bad debts. The assets and owners of these companies re-emerge in new entities known as phoenix companies and hence Senator Grant Chapman, the chairman of joint parliamentary inquiry into insolvency laws states that laws would be tightened for such companies.
