Research describing the impact of intrapreneurship on company growth is presented. Studies of validation and refinement are carried out with application on Slovenia and the United States. The importance of intrapreneurship in established and emerging companies is emphasized.

Research into the business strategies chosen by entrepreneurs aiming to expand their businesses is presented. Characteristics of high-growth oriented entrepreneurs are discussed on the basis of a survey of around eight hundred entrepreneurs.
