Italian Premier Amato Feb 21, 1993, reorganized his cabinet following the resignation of two key ministers Feb 19, 1993, in connection with political corruption scandals in the country. Socialist Party head Bettino Craxi was forced to resign from his position earlier in February.

Italian Premier Amato, at the request of Pres Oscar Luigi Scalfaro, will remain in office at least until Apr 18, 1993, when a referendum on constitutional reform is scheduled. Five cabinet officials have been implicated in Italy's political corruption scandal.
