It's not so much what you know, but how to know
Article Abstract:
The demand for skilled information technology and telecommunications (IT&T) workers will grow by 9% a year, but new college graduates are not always prepared for the changing environment of the IT&T sector. The main issue is that employers are unable to identify the skills needed, and are turning to short-term training to fill the information gaps. In Australia, another 30,000 skilled IT&T workers will be needed by June 2000.
