Leisure and new technology lead the way; the top listed companies have, by and large, had a good year, but economists are divided on what the year ahead has in store

The top 500 are growing with 314 improving their net profit while 185 had lower net profits. Revenue growth averaged 14.2% and profit growth averaged 18.4% for these companies. Earnings increased in 15 of the sectors while earnings decreased in nine of the sectors these companies are involved in. Greater leisure time and new technology were responsible for financial growth in some of these companies.

The personal computer games developer has some unique technologies and Electronic Arts COO John Riccitiello believes Auran will become a global leader in the marketplace.
