Library of Congress opens Marshall papers
Article Abstract:
The Library of Congress made public the documents of former Supreme Court Associate Justice Marshall after his death in Jan 1993, and the Washington Post began publishing parts of the documents in May 1993. Marshall's family objected to this action so soon after his death.

The 47th session of the UN General Assembly began on Sep 21, 1992. Pres George Bush stated that the US would support more extensive peace-keeping activities of the UN.
