Long tem pharmaceutical forecasting: IMS Health's approach

The rules that regulate pharmaceutical industry differ from one country to the other. In this type of pharmaceutical market, which is ever changing, quantitative forecasting through econometric or statistical extrapolations alone does not yield the required success for the business. According to IMS Health Inc., forecasting methods adopted should generate both quantitative and qualitative information, and the market research should be country specific. IMS Health has done extensive research to generate fully transparent forecasts.
