Mitsubishi Motors focuses its new ads for its Mitsubishi Galant at those yearning for youthful abandon. The ads, designed by Deutsck LA, are photographed in black and white and contain the lines, "You have a family. You have a house. You have a dog. You have a pulse." Through this campaign, Mitsubishi attempts to convince consumers that the Galant will help them distance them from middle age and its attendant responsibilities.

MGM Interactive uses humorous television ads to promote its video game, Wargames. The ad, designed by Wong-Doody, features a character named Liberty Bill, who is trying to sell used military assault vehicles in the same manner as a used-car dealer. The ads further parody used-car ads by including a disclaimer that states that the M1 tank is not available in Canada or Iraq.
