The launch of a new initiative called 'Weekend Warriors' by Australian Music Association is discussed. Music lovers are trained for four weeks on a nominal fee of Aus$250 and thereafter invited to perform in a public place in the presence of family and friends. The visitors tend to buy music instruments in process helping the revival of an industry that has been stagnant for almost a decade.
