No room at the top
Article Abstract:
Bill Kelty and Gary Weaven, the top two members of the union body ACTU in the late 1980s and early 1990s, may now be in disagreement over superannuation funds. Kelly, still with ACTU, is believed to be in a rift with Weaver, now with Industry Funds Services, over the role Weaver's company should play in the funds industry. Insiders also feel Kelly may be using this issue to find himself a position in superannuation when he leaves ACTU.
