The impact of inflation on job opportunities is discussed and the likely trends in the year 2005 are forecasted. The likely repercussions of increase in interest rates are also discussed. A monetary policy increasing growth and unemployment with due consideration towards inflation is the need of the hour. The budget in May would have to come out with economic policies integrating the above three factors.
