The rising oil prices are driving the oil shares to dizzy heights. Even so the analysts are adopting a cautious approach towards the oil industry and taming the shares down. Consequently, some of the shares are now likely to yield returns much higher than is forecasted making them attractive for investment.

Time to check the oil
Article Abstract:
Oil stocks have not performed well in 2003 due to the war in Iraq and artificially high oil prices. Once prices settle in the mid-$US20s, investors may reconsider petroleum shares. Companies such as Oil Search will be more attractive.
