Vendor selection with bundling
Article Abstract:
A mixed integer linear program is developed for vendor selection under product bundling. Product bundling involves the offering of discounts by vendors based on the number of items purchased. The two forms are pure and mixed bundling. Under pure bundling, the seller does not allow the purchase of individual items while mixed bundling allows the purchase of either the bundle or individual items. An application of the model and three model extensions are also presented.
