Article Abstract:
The American marketing professor Philip Kotler made his reputation by pushing the importance of "the four Ps" namely product, price, promotion and place but now marketing consultants have added one more P to it, that is passion, which they believe is more important for a new product or marketing campaign to succeed. Marketing consultants say that making a good product, pricing it correctly, promoting it, and ensuring it as good distribution are not sufficient but brands must have passion and must be capable to inspire passion among customers, which is a key reason for strong sales.
