Mallesons Stephen Jaques, which heads the list of the 20 largest law firms in Australia, reported about $260 million in 1998 revenue. Most of the top firms took in about $1 million per equity partner. Some UK and US law firms exceed these revenues, but they employ more attorneys per partner.
