Principles of new product management: exploring the beliefs of product practitioners
Article Abstract:
Survey results are presented on the attitudes of product development practitioners toward new product development principles supplied by academic researchers. The results indicate a high level of agreement; technical and marketing managers agreed with the proposed principles in 80% of the cases. Related tables are also included.

Identifying the key success factors in new product launch
Article Abstract:
Research, distribution, sales force, launch timing, and marketing all play vital roles in determining a new product's success. Cross-functional teams which are active from the early stages of product development also greatly influence launch effectiveness.
