Protel races on to a wider circuit

Australia's Protel International is being floated to raise capital to compete in the $600 million printed-circuits board market. The issue comprises of 23.25 million shares at $2 per share, or 38% of its post-float capital. Of the $46.5 million being raised, $30 million is for company acquisitions and capital, and $16.5 goes to founder Nick Martin and other investors. Martin and two other directors will control 59% of post-float capital. Projected earnings per share for 2000 will be 11.1 cents with a forecasted six cents fully-franked dividend.
