Sealcorp punt starts to pay off

Sealcorp Holdings, purchased in 1998 by St. George Bank, has continued to grow as its own funds administration entity. Total funds under management has reached $6.5 billion, an increase of $1.5 billion from 1998. New superannuation administration could bring in more than $1 billion in 2000. Sealcorp also uses computer systems that handle the complexities of funds administration and will continue to invest in the information technology platform. Research and development spending will rise from $3.5 million in 1998-99 to $8.5 in 1999-2000.
