Gallipoli, Turkey, is the site of 31 cemeteries and many monuments commemmorating World War I soldiers from Australia, New Zealand, Turkey, France and Great Britain. There were tales of courage that took place on both sides. Turkish tour guides appreciate the bravery of the Australian soldiers and tell tales of respect which each side had for the other.
