Shares' third dimension
Article Abstract:
One of the tools to identify the valuations of shares is earnings yield, i.e., after tax profits of the company divided by the market valuation. This yield when compared to the prevailing and expected interest rates would indicate whether the share is overpriced or not. Another ratio affecting the stock prices is the price by earnings ratio. However, Australians tend to compare dividend yield with interest rates in determining the valuation.
