The SEC has created an easier, less expensive way for small businesses to register for public offerings through Regulation SB. Erox Corp, a perfume maker, paid only $2,275 and filed 126 pages of paperwork with the SEC to go public. As of May 1993, 150 companies have registered under Regulation SB.
