ISO 9000 performance in Japanese Industries
Article Abstract:
The factors that determine the performance of ISO 9000 standards in Japanese industries are analyzed. A questionnaire survey to collect data from ISO 9000 certified companies reveals that in case of medium sized companies motivational aspects, implementation procedures, maintenance activities and quality measures are all emphasized.
