Some problems when adopting Churchill's paradigm for the development of service quality measurements
Article Abstract:
A suggested paradigm developed by author A.J. Churchill, Jr in 1979 furnishes a model for systematically, iteratively developing valid, reliable marketing constructs. This framework has been adopted by researchers in the field of service quality measurements. A study examined the SERVQUAL measure of service quality based on Churchill's paradigm. The analysis revealed many problems in the adoption of his framework and illustrated how scales that appear to be reliable and valid measures may be inadequate in several respects.

A conceptual model and study of cross-cultural business relationships
Article Abstract:
International trends in business relations have shifted away from antagonistic actions to associations characterized by cooperation and mutual benefit. A conceptual model of cross-cultural relationships was developed in order to ascertain what elements constitute an effective business relationship. Results showed social and structural bonds and their connection with familiarity with cultural orientation are primary conditions in long-term involvements of cross-national business relations.
