Sovereignty demands a safety net
Article Abstract:
Issues concerning the monitoring of internet usage in Australia are discussed. It is argued that, in some circumstances, it is worth monitoring the internet and that a democratically elected national government has the right to do so. Lawmakers in Australia should follow the example of their counterparts in the US.
