Spurned stocks are bear-market bargains
Article Abstract:
A majority of Australian stocks are in a bear market. The sharemarket is concentrated on a few heavy weighted favored market leaders that have been keeping the All Ordinaries index going. Many large companies are seeing lows between 24% and 51% below their 52-week highs. Traders are being urged towards "evergreen portfolios" offering favored attributes with better earnings certainty and less exposure to global economic woes.

Farming groups look for a share harvest
Article Abstract:
The listing of two agribusinesses, Australia's Namoi Cotton and GrainCorp, have reopened the dispute over non-voting shares.
