Stories from the front-line: how they construct the organization
Article Abstract:
The article uses social constructionist theory to analyze delivery staff narratives in a distribution network, focusing on how the organization is constructed through the perceptions and interrelationships of the self, the manufacturer, and the customer. The location of conflict within the interrelationships and its implications are discussed.
