The Australian Howard Government has handed back the windfall gains in the form of tax cuts, despite their attempts in 2003 to make tax cuts a political issue. According to Prime Minister, John Howard, the tax cuts are not the highest priority, but the pressure for cuts is expected to increase due to the international crises.
