The PIMS program of strategy research: a retrospective appraisal
Article Abstract:
Brief overview of the historical background and the early methodological innovations of the PIMS project, which had dominated strategy research between 1975 and 1990, are presented. The key success factors like market share, product quality, order of market entry and capital intensity had a considerable impact on the strategy formulation and academic research outside the core PIMS program.

Attribute beliefs and spending as antecedents to shopping value
Article Abstract:
Mall shoppers were surveyed to examine their satisfaction with attributes of a local mall, the value they derived from shopping at the mall, resource expenditures and repatronage intention. Analysis showed that attribute beliefs positively influences repatronage intention, suggesting that it is useful for malls to ensure target customers have positive beliefs about mall attributes.
