The TAO of forecasting with promotional events
Article Abstract:
Issues concerning the ways in which sales forecasts can be improved by separating between non-promotional and promotional sales are discussed. Particular attention is given to ways of correlating the sales plans with the forecasts of sales to increase forecasting accuracy.

Issues concerning methods and applications of forecasting accuracy measurements are discussed. Particular attention is given to methods and measures of calculating forecasting performances, including absolute % and weighted absolute % error.
