Article Abstract:
A brief review of the economy and stock markets as of December 2, 2005 is furnished. Housing and other sectors are expected to have a positive effect on the economy and the gross domestic product is expected to be range bound between 3 to 3.5% in 2005. Companies too are expected to report good results, which will lead to hectic activities in the stock markets. However, negative impact from factors like high oil prices and interest rates will have to be considered.
