The effects of environmental concern on environmentally friendly consumer behavior: an exploratory study
Article Abstract:
Multivariate and univariate analyses determine effects of attitude, personal and injunctive norms over environmentally friendly consumer behavior like signing, joining, paying, and supporting anti-pollution programs as well as sacrificing personal conveniences and not patronizing polluting firms. Studies reveal environmental concern or attitude to have an overall impact on all the six behavioral intentions with personal norm showing indifference to pay more taxes for government support of anti-pollution and injunctive norm showing indifference to sign for petitions and refrain from patronizing products of polluting firms.

Green consumers in the 1990s: profile and implications for advertising
Article Abstract:
Ecologically conscious consumers' attitudes towards environment protection changed in the 1990s. A survey of 582 adult consumers generated a profile of the demographic and attitudinal factors of ecologically conscious consumer behavior (ECCB). Perceived consumer effectiveness positively affects the performance of ecologically conscious consumer behaviors. Advertisers of ecologically conscious products and services must find new communication strategies to motivate consumers to shop in an ecologically conscious manner.

Exploring the subtle relationships between environmental concern and ecologically conscious consumer behavior
Article Abstract:
Analytical evaluation of the relation between environmental concern and ecologically conscious consumer behavior reveals certain predictors that may contribute to marketing efforts and future researchs. Studies using confirmatory factor analysis show higher correlation between new environmental paradigms with ecologically conscious consumer behavior patterns on four dimensional factors like: ecological balance, God's immanense, growth prohibition and adaptation first before change.
