The Australian government is scrutinizing the tax payment of wealthy people. People are suspected of creating artificial tax losses, manipulation of purchase and sale prices, and tailored tax avoidance schemes in order to avoid Capital Gains Tax (CGT) on profits from the sale of assets. Many problems with inadequate guidelines on tax are also one of the reasons for non-payment of tax.
