Three ways to get your customers to pay faster
Article Abstract:
Three techniques are presented for helping the business owner improve collection from customers. These are processing the invoices faster, introducing early payment discounts and requiring a specific date on which a delinquent customer will have to pay. Other suggestions for preventing cash flow problems include getting to know the customer, writing down the company's policies and guidelines on providing credit, investigating the credit of each possible client and settling disputes with customers as soon as possible.

A company should expect some dissatisfied customers. Complaints that are handled incorrectly can cause customers to be lost to competitors.
