Too soon to celebrate
Article Abstract:
An analysis of the strength of the Australian Dollar vis-a-vis the US Dollar reveals that it is not the Australian DollarEs appreciation that is making it strong; it is the depreciation of the US currency that is the cause of the illusion. The actual strength of the Australian currency is much lower based on the current account deficit of the country. The performances of other currencies such as US Dollar, Euro and the Japanese Yen are also discussed and analyzed.
